- Paths to QUALITY
I began working at The Child Care Resource Network in: 2007
Hometown: Toledo, OH
What inspires me? my family, my sons and their successes
Education: Child Development and Family Studies, B.S., Purdue University
Favorite hobbies: enjoying sporting events with my children, reading, and spending time with my family
Background and Expertise: I have always loved children even as a young child! As a teen, I used to babysit my little cousins. I have worked in all areas of child care from homes to centers to ministries. I owned my own licensed child care home for 12 years and also worked as a lead 2-year-old teacher at one of Purdue's child care programs. I also taught in our youngest Sunday school classes at church. My passion is to be able to make a difference whether that is in a child's life or the caregivers that work with them. I want to see that every child has access to quality child care and the providers are well-equipped with the knowledge to carry out that mission.
