Operation: Military Child Care is a Department of Defense initiative created to meet the child care needs of military parents who are mobilized or deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism. The program provides financial assistance and help locating quality child care for eligible military families who do not have access to on-base options. Eligible child care programs must either be accredited or licensed with a current CDA.

Benefits for Child Care Programs:
Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood is a National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRRA) and Department of Defense (DoD) program designed to help Service Members locate quality child care and provide them with fee assistance. This program supports Service Members who cannot access DoD's on-base child care programs due to assignments away from military installations.
