The Child Care Resource Network will be offering Non-Formal Child Development Associate Training.
Child Development Associate (CDA) is a nationally recognized credential that is awarded to individuals completing the CDA training and final assessment. Those who attain a CDA credential are prepared to meet the specific needs of children, nurturing their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. To be eligible for the Indiana Non-Formal CDA Project, applicants must:
1) Be employed in a licensed, registered, or legally exempt early child care and education setting,
2) Work 30 or more hours per week, earning $12.00 per hour or less as a teacher/teacher assistant or $15.00 per hour or less as a director/administrator,
3) Be 18 years of age or older,
4) Be a resident of Indiana
5) Have earned a high school diploma or GED.
The Child Care Resource Network has 40 scholarships available.
